ABM ideally meaning Active Business Management was incorporated in the year of 2009 with a specific intention of Skill Gap Analysis, Content Development and Training of the resources of its Mother organization. The mother Company Starlink Logistics Pvt is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Company having a pan India network and physical geographical presence.This company has its Warehouse in all the major cities of India and is also accredited and licensed by the United States Federal Maritime Commission as an N.V.O.C.C. (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) and O.T.I. (Ocean Transportation Intermediary) . The marque was established with a well thought vision of selecting, conscripting, training and engaging the candidates in requisite capacity in the field of logistics and supply chain management. Tailoring and developing content, further training the engaged employees of Star Link Logistics in required and timely manner was the initial focus.

Capacity upgradation in required dimension of corporate houses became further area of exploration and engagement of ABM. The challenge of capacity building and content development in the fields of logistics and supply chain is invariably complex and requires clear reasoning and analysis. The decision making in supply chain management often requires multiple skills beyond technical expertise. Individuals involved in ground level functions to supervisors also requires competencies of managerial nature and adequate professional communications ,etiquettes and manners . The training provided by ABM aims to equip the candidate with a balanced skill set of technical and managerial competencies to succeed in this domain. It is designed to enable participants with the knowledge of management and operations of logistics & supply chain systems. The curriculum covers a wide spectrum of topic including transportation management, lean chain, strategic sourcing, warehousing, and performance-based logistics, constraints management, supply chain network design, and demand management.

Vinay Kumar is in charge of company’s financial operations which include responsibility for internal and external financial reporting, stewardship of company’s assets, and ownership of cash management.
