Under DDUGKY Provision of Ministry of Rural Development a Placement Linked Skill Development program is being driven by ABM under the leadership of State Rural Livelihood Mission HIMAYAT . The youth of Jammu and Kashmir are being trained on specialized skill set of Office Assistance work, multifunction administration activities,CCTV supervision works. Further in logistic domain they are being trained on complete process of warehouse Claims coordination work and in-depth knowledge on Warehouse Supervision works. Contents of the training modules are being designed by respective Sector Skill Councils under National Skill Qualification Framework.
The residential training infrastructure in Marble market Jammu has a provision to cater the training need of 180 Students. Well-equipped IT labs ,Domain Labs, Classrooms and Hostel facilities are being developed and maintained as per SoP guideline defined by MoRD.
The training system covers Class room training and OJT.
