Under DDUGKY Provision of Ministry of Rural Development a Placement Linked Skill Development program is being driven by ABM under the leadership of State Rural Livelihood Mission SICB Sikkim . The youth of Sikkim are being trained on specialized skill set of F&B Service Trainee, front office executive works. Further in logistic domain they are being trained on complete process of warehouse Claims coordination work and in-depth knowledge on Inventory Clerk works. Contents of the training modules are being designed by respective Sector Skill Councils under National Skill Qualification Framework.
The residential training infrastructure in Thamidada Gangtok has a provision to cater the training need of 110 Students. Well-equipped IT labs, Domain Labs, Classrooms and Hostel facilities are being developed and maintained as per SoP guideline defined by MoRD.
The training system covers Class room training and OJT.
